Saint Christopher Catholic Church
Your Spiritual Home

Fr. Richard J. Kelley, Pastor
Our Mission
We are a Roman Catholic Parish, whose members live and proclaim the saving message of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision
St. Christopher Church serves as a spiritual home where all are welcome to share in its ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for Worship through the Celebration of the Sacraments, Service through active and compassionate participation in the community, Education in God's Word and the Catholic faith, and Fellowship through parish events that nurture and support family life.

Heavenly Father, We pray for all of the people and programs at St. Christopher Parish. Unite us as a community of believers and grant us the wisdom, grace, and strength to do your will. We ask this through Christ our Lord. -- Amen.

Sacrament Preparation:

A two year program to prepare high school confirmation candidates for full communion into the Roman Catholic Church by calling them to full, active participation in their spiritual community of St. Christopher and the universal Church through a period of deep reflection, prayer, and service.

Goals:
  • Provide a Confirmation Preparation program designed to execute key elements of the Mission and support the faith formation/sharing needs of the Parish youth.
  • Provide a forum fostering an open and engaging Parish/Youth Relationship in order to increase visibility of youth participation and their role in the Parish Community.
  • Baptism is the sacrament of the foundational communication of the Spirit, and Confirmation is the perfecting of baptism.
Class Values:

Students are expected to build community in the class through knowledge about, appreciation of, and cooperation with one another.

  • Mutual Respect (for diversity and for each other)
  • Sincerity (atmosphere that encourages and elicits truthful expression and sharing)
  • Imagination
  • Co-Responsibility (with teacher & each other to make this an interesting and rewarding experience)
