Mass Intentions
Even though graces from every Holy Mass extend to all the faithful both living and deceased, the Church permits a Mass Intention to be chosen so that specific person or group of persons can receive special graces.
You can request a Mass Intention at St. Christopher's for living or deceased persons. A $10 offering is customarily given along with an intention.
When requesting a Mass date, please note that:
- We celebrate a Pro Populo Mass intention once during the weekend Masses and once of each Holy Day of Obligation, in accordance with Canon Law. This Mass is offered for the intentions of each parishioner.
- The 4:00 PM Vigil Mass each Saturday is always a Collective Mass which has multiple intentions, as is permitted by Canon Law. We typically allow up to 2 separate intentions for that Mass. Please be assured that having multiple intentions in no way diminishes the graces which flow to each intention ~ God’s love can't be divided or reduced!
